Our large holiday cottages give your family or group of friends room to spread out, with separate bedrooms and a shared space to cook, eat, and relax together, near Bovey Tracey in Devon.
At Little Dunley Cottages, our largest cottages and lodges each sleep six guests across three bedrooms. You can either book one six-sleeper cottage for your family or group, or for larger gatherings, you can book several cottages together as a cluster, so each household has its own kitchen, bathrooms, and front door while everyone stays close by, accommodating up to 50 guests.

Depending on which holiday cottage you pick, you and your family or friends will have access to a range of on-site facilities. All set on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, you’ll have 24 acres of picturesque meadowland to explore.
Apple Lodge
Apple Lodge has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which include a master bedroom with a super king-size bed and en-suite, and two twin bedrooms. The main bathroom has a free-standing bath and a rainfall shower.
- Outside: a private undercover hot tub, a private barbecue and an enclosed patio and lawn.
- On-site facilities: the indoor heated swimming pool, games room, floodlit all-weather tennis court and fishing lakes.
Lake View
Lake View has one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms.
- Outside: enclosed garden with a patio, private barbecue, and a private hot tub.
- On-site facilities: the indoor swimming pool, games room, tennis court and fishing lakes.
Vine Lodge
Vine Lodge has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bunk bed room, making it a practical layout for families with younger children.

Old Coach House
The Old Coach House has a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom upstairs, plus a ground-floor twin bedroom and shower room for easier access.
- Outside: a large, enclosed garden with a summer house, patio and covered parking for two cars
- Dogs: welcomes up to two dogs
Who Our Six-Person Holiday Cottages Are Suited For
Our six-person holiday cottages are ideal for:
- Families of five or six: Parents can have their own room while children share a twin or bunk room.
- Three generations together: Grandparents get a separate bedroom. In the Old Coach House, they can use the ground-floor bedroom and shower room.
- Three couples or a group of friends: Three bedrooms and one shared living space suit a weekend away. Lake View and Apple Lodge have the additional benefit of a private hot tub.
- Families bringing dogs: The Old Coach House welcomes up to two dogs.
- On-site facilities: Vine Lodge, Lake View and Apple Lodge all have access to our heated indoor swimming pool, along with a sauna, games room, tennis court and fishing lakes.
One Large Cottage or a Cluster?
For groups of more than six, your holiday cottages can be booked together as a cluster. All of our accommodation is situated on the same site – some are just closer to each other than others. For example:
Fig Cottage (2), Wisteria Cottage (2-4), and Virginia Cottage (2) are neighbouring properties, whilst Hazel (2), Willow (2), Maple (2) and Holly (2) are right next to each other in a terraced layout. This makes them perfect if you want a bit more privacy as a couple, but not too far from the rest of your friends or family.
Acorn Cottage (4), Oak Tree Cottage (4), Vine Lodge (6) and Lake View (6) are quite close together as well. So, depending on your needs, you can also have a close cluster that accommodates up to 20 people.

Our holiday cottages that sleep up to 4 people include:
- Acorn Cottage: detached and all on the ground floor, with a double, a twin and a private hot tub, plus access to our indoor swimming pool, games room, tennis court and fishing lakes.
- Oaktree Cottage: a bungalow with a double, a twin and two bathrooms, along with access to our swimming pool, games rooms, tennis court and fishing lakes.
- Wisteria Cottage: a large double bedroom and two pull-out sofas, welcoming one well-behaved dog.

Our location also works as a base for days out – Dartmoor is on the doorstep, the A38 connects to Exeter and Plymouth, plus Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton, Totnes, Teignmouth, and Dawlish are within easy reach.
All guests can book optional in-cottage treatments, such as massage, reiki, hot stone therapy, facials, manicures and pedicures. Laundry facilities and an EV charger are also available.
