Are you looking for a swimming pool holiday?  You don’t need to go abroad to be able to swim every day!  Located on the edge of Dartmoor, yet only 20 minutes from the nearest beach, Little Dunley Cottages host a collection of facilities that make your stay so enjoyable, that you may never want to leave! Our Devon holiday cottages/lodges are set within 24 acres of countryside with an emphasis on tranquillity and relaxation.

One feature that is available to those staying within Acorn Cottage, Oaktree Cottage, Lake View Cottage, Apple Lodge and Vine Lodge is our indoor heated swimming pool.  Whatever time of the year, we welcome guests of all ages to take a swim in our wonderfully family-friendly pool.  As the weather can be unpredictable, it is always great to know that you can still have fun indoors!  For the adults, our sauna is the perfect way to wind down after a swim and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Devon Holiday Cottages with Indoor Pool

Perfect for family getaways, our holiday cottages with their access to our indoor pool give you everything to make a break less stressful.  For many, swimming is a wonderful pastime and a chance for families to spend time with each other; thankfully it is made easy with our swimming pool holidays.  If you have little ones, you will be pleased to know that our indoor swimming pool is heated, and the temperature ideal for young children of all ages to enjoy.  We have on many occasions found that some guests rarely travel far from us, with so many facilities to enjoy such as our pool and sauna.

Our indoor swimming pool is 30ft x 15ft, depth 4ft-5ft, and open all year.

Families are not the only guests who enjoy swimming, couples staying at select cottages and enjoying a short break can also take advantage of our indoor swimming pool. What could be more relaxing than a swim and a sauna, followed by a romantic meal in one of our holiday cottages/lodges?

Being in an area of such beauty, we actively work towards minimising our environmental impact. You will find that our indoor swimming pool is  heated by a biomass boiler, using wood from a neighbouring business.  The power for our fantastic South Devon holiday cottages/lodges is generated by solar panels, and water provided by our own borehole and water treatment plant.  As we all get such enjoyment from our idyllic location, we thought it only fair that we made sure to lower our carbon footprint. Our South Devon Holiday Cottages do not just feature an indoor swimming pool, we have a selection of leisure facilities and optional extras for our guests to enjoy onsite. Here are just a few of them: –

• Tennis court. Our all-weather tennis court will have you grabbing a racquet and serving up some wonderful memories. Our tennis court is floodlit and available to use day and night.
• Sauna: Our shared sauna is the perfect way to finish off a swimming session.
• Games Room. Our games room has something to keep all ages entertained, from a pool table to table tennis to something bouncy for the little ones.
• Massage Treatments. For the ultimate in relaxation, we offer a range of therapeutic massage therapies in the comfort of your holiday cottage.
