You probably already know that we’re in the perfect spot for a relaxing country break, but did you know that we’re also the ideal base for adventure holidays too?

Our thirteen properties, including holiday cottages, lodge holidays and hot tub holidays provide the perfect home-from-home for adventurers, explorers and daredevils alike!

Getaways for Adventurers and Explorers

Thanks to our proximity to Dartmoor National Park, several beaches and coastal paths, plus a number of great climbing sites, we’re the ideal base for all manner of adventure holidays!

Whether you’re planning to kayak in the rapids of the River Dart, surf in Bantham, hike the Tarka Trail or cycle the Exe Estuary trail, there’s no shortage of great activities on offer in the local area.  There are also plenty of places in Devon where you can play golf, go horse riding or even try zorbing and paintballing!

If you’re visiting us with little ones, there are also a number of great kids adventure parks within a short drive, such as Crealy, Woodlands Theme Park and the Ultimate Adventure Centre – a Ninja Warrior style adventure course for the whole family.

If you’re taking a rest day and plan to remain on-site, there are still plenty of great activities to keep you busy!  We have two fishing lakes (stocked with carp) for our guests to practice angling, a heated indoor pool, an all-weather tennis court, a shared sauna and games room, equipped with a pool table, table tennis and other activities.

We also offer a number of optional extras available to purchase, so that you can incorporate a little rest and relaxation into your adventure holiday.  With massage (including Swedish, deep tissue and Indian head massage), reiki and hot stone therapy as well as facials, manicures and pedicures, you can soothe those aching muscles before you embark on your next adventure!
